Hi-tech enthusiasts! If you’re a fan of virtual reality (VR) and have been enjoying your Oculus headset previously ( like me :D), I am happy to inform you about Apple’s journey into a VR headset. Apple has recently unveiled its latest innovation, the Vision Pro (mind-blowing), which seems promising to take our VR experience to the next level.

Apple’s Vision Pro?

Apple’s entry into the world of virtual and augmented reality. Yes, you heard just fine — It’s a headset that allows us to interact with digital content in a whole new way. Imagine being able to watch your favorite movies and get cinema feels or even browse the web in a fully expansive 3D environment. That’s what Vision Pro going to offer — isn’t that seem exciting already?

Comparing it to Oculus (VR headset by Meta)?

Last year I received Oculus from my team and I had a wonderful experience watching youtube videos in 4K and even in 360 mode. The Vision Pro takes this concept and enhances it with Apple’s unique touch (that is why Apple is Apple). While Oculus provides a fantastic VR experience, Vision Pro aims to integrate more with the Apple ecosystem, offering compatibility with other Apple devices and services.

Features:

Vision OS: This is the operating system that powers Vision Pro. It’s designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for anyone to navigate the VR environment.

Control Center on Vision Pro gives you quick access to important settings and features. You can adjust the volume, switch to airplane mode, control playback, and more.

Guest Mode: This is a unique feature that allows us to share our Vision Pro with others without giving them access to our personal data. It’s perfect for letting friends or family members try out the device.

The Vision Pro supports a range of apps, including a VR version of Safari. This means we can browse the web in a fully immersive environment.
We can choose from a variety of environments, from peaceful beaches to the starry night sky.

Now if you are a technical person like me, you would love to create something with VR, right?

Before we take step 10 we should start with the basics — It’s a good idea to familiarize ourselves with the basics of VR. YouTube is also a great resource, with many tech channels offering detailed reviews and tutorials on VR headsets.

The world of VR is gonna be at our fingertips!
